Jessie J captivated audiences as the house act for the VMAs last weekend, and now the pop star is leading the pack at the UK-based 2011 MOBO Awards with five nominations, including Best UK Act.

The songbird's debut single, 'Do It Like a Dude,' is up for Best Video and Best Song, while the 23-year-old vies for Best Newcomer and Best Album for her debut album 'Who You Are.'

This year's UK awards show will be co-hosted by Jason Derulo, who was just announced as one of the emcees for the event. Derulo will share co-hosting duties with an as-of-yet-unnamed female, and is among the scheduled performers of the evening, including Jessie J, Katy B and Alexis Jordan. The event will also pay tribute to the late Amy Winehouse.

"It’s a real honor to be presenting and performing at the MOBO Awards this year," said Derulo. "It’s such a huge event to be part of and I’m super excited to come back to the UK -- it’s going to be a lot of fun!"

Derulo was up for Best International Act in 2010, but this year, Beyoncé, Adele and Nicki Minaj will duke it out for the honor, which is determined by fan voting. The 2011 MOBO Awards will be held at the SECC arena in Glasgow, Scotland on Oct. 5.
