After delivering a flawless performance of 'Rolling in the Deep' at the 2012 Grammy Awards, which was her triumphant return to performing after vocal cord surgery, Adele hit the stage once again not for a reprise, but to collect the Grammy Award for Record of the Year for the song.

Lady Antebellum presented Adele with the big honor, as they won the award last year and were symbolically passing the torch along.

Adele's acceptance speech was short and sweet. She took a minute to thank all the radio programmers out there who played the song, since they were the ones who helped it to crossover and become the hit that it was. The singer acknowledged that "it's not really a pop record" and that she wanted to make sure she bestowed her appreciation on other formats. The girl is a class act.

Congrats again, Adele. The 2012 Grammy Awards proved that both a critically and commercially successful album can clean up at an awards show. Adele's '21' is doing exactly that! The singer is going to need a wagon to lug all those little gold statues around!
