This is starting to get really intense! It's the quarterfinals in PopCrush's Battle of the Brits, where we ask our readers to vote on the best acts from the U.K.! There's 8 left battling it out for the best U.K. artist 2013 (whether they be Irish, British, Scottish or Welsh)!

We started with 32 acts, and after two rounds of intense voting, we're left with one battle in each of the four categories:  Pop Solo performers, Groups and Bands, Singer-Songwriters, and Electronic artists. From there, the Pop Solo winner will compete with the Groups and Bands winner; The Singer-Songwriter artist will battle it out with the Electronic act. Then the winners from those will compete for the ultimate crown!

So who's left? In Pop Solo, the nominees have been narrowed down to the beautiful Jessie J and Ellie Goulding. Mean while, One Direction dominated over Little Mix, and will now go against U.K. veterans Coldplay in the Groups and Bands category.

The Singer-Songwriters left in Battle of the Brits are 17-year-old Birdy and Marina + the Diamonds. Finally, in the Electronic genre, Calvin Harris will go up against Rudimental.

Who who do you want to win? Quarterfinals polls will close on Aug. 14 at 2PM ET, and you can vote once per hour until then. Good luck, and start voting for the ultimate U.K. artist below!
