It's time for Round 2 in PopCrush's Battle of the Brits, where we ask you, the readers, to vote on a variety of acts from the U.K. in order to crown the best English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish artist of 2013!

In case you missed it before, we've divided the Battle of the Brits into four initial categories:  Pop Solo performers, Groups and Bands, Singer-Songwriters, and Electronic artists. There have already been eight acts from the U.K. who have been knocked out of the running, but the competition is only getting more intense.

In Pop Solo, the nominees have been narrowed to Adele, Jessie J, Ellie Goulding and Cher Lloyd, making this one a fierce fight between all females. Adele is up against Jessie J, while Ellie fans will have to try and overtake Cher's Brats.

Then there's the Group and Bands category, where One Direction dominated over the Wanted in Round 1. Now, the 'Kiss You' quintet will go head-to-head against their friends in Little Mix, who ousted the Saturdays for best girl group in Round 1. Coldplay also remain in the Groups and Bands category, and during Round 2, they'll be duking it out against the Script for best band in the U.K.

The Singer-Songwriters also has some outstanding talent, as Birdy, Ben Howard, Marina + the Diamonds and Passenger will all be present for Round 2. Finally, in the Electronic genre, Calvin Harris is up against Charli XCX, while Sub Focus takes on Rudimental.

Who will come out on top? Round 2 polls will close on July 31 at 2PM ET, and you can vote once per hour until then. Good luck, and start voting for the ultimate U.K. act below!
