The 2013 Teen Choice Awards are getting closer and closer, and there are tons of talented recording artists nominated this year. In the newly instated Choice EDM Artist category, which the Teen Choice Awards began including in 2012, it's going to be quite the race, as six of the genre's hugest acts are in the running for the 2013 award.

This year, the fans will decide if Calvin Harris, David Guetta, deadmau5, Kaskade, Skrillex or Swedish House Mafia deserve the Teen Choice Award for best EDM act. Out of these six DJs, which do you think deserves the Teen Choice Award the most? Weigh in below, and the poll will remain opened until Sunday, August 11 at 7:59PM ET, right before the 2013 Teen Choice Awards air on Fox. Good luck, and read a little more info on the nominees below.

Calvin Harris: Ever since Rihanna dropped 'We Found Love,' Calvin Harris has been a household name. He not only masterminded the beat behind one of RiRi's greatest tracks, but the Scottish DJ also has a number of massive tunes to his own name, like 'Feel So Close,' on which Harris himself sings, the Ne-Yo-featured single 'Let's Go,' 'Sweet Nothing' with Florence Welch, and most recently, the Ellie Goulding-featured hit 'I Need Your Love.'

David Guetta: The French turntables vet won the first-ever Teen Choice Award for best EDM artist, and the way things have been going for Guetta, he could take the win two years in a row. Guetta is still churning out hits from his 'Nothing But the Beat 2.0' LP, with the party jam 'Play Hard' (featuring Ne-Yo and Akon) being his latest single. In the past year, he's also started his own record label, co-wrote and produced Rihanna's 'Unapologetic' track 'Phresh Out the Runway,' and is opening for RiRi on the European leg of her Diamonds world tour.

Deadmau5: The man of many mouse helmets is still riding high on the release of his 2012 LP 'Album Title Goes Here,' which has yielded him EDM hits like 'Maths,' 'The Veldt' and 'Professional Griefers.' On top of his new music releases this past year, deadmau5 (aka Joel Zimmerman) was also nominated for a Grammy in 2013 for Best Dance/Electronica Album, and also got engaged to his lady love Kat Von D!

Kaskade: Although Kaskade, aka Chicago-born DJ Ryan Raddon, hasn't had all that much going in 2013, he released string of awesome singles in 2012 off of his latest LP 'Fire & Ice.' Some of those singles included the dreamy track 'Room for Happiness' with Skylar Grey, the Neon Trees-featured single 'Lessons in Love,' a housier version of the band's 'Picture Show' track, and 'Lick It,' which saw Kaskade collaborating with fellow EDM artist Skrillex.

Skrillex: As one of the most groundbreaking and popular electronic artists to ever exist, Skrillex could very well win the Choice EDM Artist trophy at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards. He's been performing at festivals non-stop and cranking out tunes under his solo moniker as well as with his side project Dog Blood. He also won the 2013 Grammy for Best Dance/Electronica Album for his 'Bangarang' EP, which featured massive, infectious hits like the title track (for which he also won the Best Dance Recording Grammy) and 'Breakn' a Sweat,' a duet that saw Sonny collaborating with the Doors. Even Jim Morrison makes a vocal appearance!

Swedish House Mafia: Even though they've broken up, it's only appropriate that Swedish House Mafia are nominated for Choice EDM Artist at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards. The trio's farewell show just occurred in March 2013 at Ultra Music Fest, and before that, they were positively dominating radio waves with inspirational, electro dance anthems like 'Don't You Worry Child.' R.I.P., Swedish House Mafia. We will really miss you.
