Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, Sam Smith, Pharrell and Beck are all up for the 2015 Grammy Awards' highest honor: Album of the Year! Whose record should take home the golden gramophone?

Ed Sheeran's 'x' is something we can only describe as pure joy. While the subjectmatter may not be so happy (see: 'I'm a Mess,' 'Nina' and 'Don't') the album is the perfect embodiment of everything we love about the British singer. 'x' is poignant, beautifully written and contains our future wedding tracks 'Thinking Out Loud' and 'Tenerife Sea.' So really, you can't go wrong with that.

Beyonce's surprise album -- aptly titled 'Beyonce,' of course -- bestowed upon us such gems as 'Drunk in Love,' 'Flawless,' 'Pretty Hurts,' 'XO' and so much more. Let's be real: Beyonce deserves a Grammy just for dropping her album as a total surprise. The fact that it portrays Queen Bey at her fiercest yet is just an added bonus.

Sam Smith introduced himself to the world with his debut album, 'In the Lonely Hour.' And what a debut it was -- the British crooner is up for multiple Grammys, all thanks to the record, which showcases his trademark soulful sound. For an album that contains both 'Stay With Me' and 'I Know I'm Not the Only One,' we know that this one is destined for greatness -- and maybe even a Grammy.

With mega hits like 'Happy' and 'Come Get it Bae,' Pharrell's 'G I R L' is pretty much a no-brainer for inclusion in the Album of the Year category. The famed producer delivered his trademark funky sound on the record and therefore made our lives just a little bit better -- and dare we say it -- 'Happier.' We had to!

We're digging the super melodic vibes on Beck's 'Morning Phase' -- and so are the critics. The album -- said to be a companion piece of the alt-rocker's 'Sea Change' -- is up for a whopping five Grammys this year, including Album of the Year (duh) and Best Rock Album. Not too shabby.
