50 Cent was hospitalized in New York early Tuesday morning (June 26) after suffering injuries in a car accident involving his SUV and a Mack truck , according to his website Thisis50.com.

Apparently, while being chauffeured on the Long Island Expressway, a tractor-trailer rear-ended Fiddy's SUV and it almost caused the vehicle to flip over. The rapper-actor was rushed to a nearby hospital in Queens where he was examined for neck and back injuries. The driver of the SUV was also admitted into the emergency room, as well.

The good news here is that 50 and the driver were treated for minor neck injuries and released. "He's fine," a source told XXLMag regarding 50's health, adding that the driver is also in good condition.

The accident marks the second time 50 Cent had to be hospitalized this year. In May, the 'Wait Until Tonight' rapper checked into a hospital for a "stomach virus" and had to undergo surgery. Afterward, he posted a photo of himself in bed with stuffed animals.

“[Eminem] called and said, ‘Man you been shot nine times, don’t f--- around and die over a burger,’” 50 told XXLMag.com at the time. “He called and started making me laugh and s---, and I wasn’t feeling good. So I just started to laugh, and he cheered me up when I was feeling uncomfortable.”

We are glad that 50 Cent is okay and is resting at his home. Get well.
