50 Cent just launched his charitable energy drink, Street King, and now the rapper is hoping Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber will lend their support to help combat hunger in Africa.

The hip-hop star, born Curtis Jackson, is aiming to provide meals for one billion kids by 2016, with proceeds from every purchase of Street King going toward his cause. So far, it looks like he's right on track.

Mini bottles of the grape and orange mango varieties hit shelves this week, and have reportedly raked in enough cash to feed 2.5 million children in Africa. "It sold out, the first 4,000 shipments in stores in like, 50 states, is sold out … and I was being conservative," he said. "Because of the actual pre-orders, I was actually able to feed 2.5 million today and I already have interest expressed by other a bunch of people like Usher, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Drake … So we’re looking forward to building bigger and better things."

A new video celebrating the launch of the energy drink was posted on Street Kings' YouTube page on Wednesday. In the clip, the rapper states: "I went to Africa, and the devastation I witnessed changed me forever ... I want to feed a billion hungry people and I need your help to do that. This is our world, these are our streets. I need your energy. Let's do this."
