Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke Opens Up About Mother’s Scoliosis

Fifth Harmony's Ally Brooke took to Tumblr earlier today (Nov. 24) to post about a deeply personal issue regarding her mother's health. According to the post, Ally's mother suffers from scoliosis -- a sideways curvature of the spine that varies in severity. Sadly, it looks like Ally's mother deals with a serious case of scoliosis that significantly inhibits her movement.

Ally goes on to detail the struggles she and her mother have gone through over the years: "Before everything started for me in my career, I was used to taking care of her at home. I would spend everyday helping her around the house, grocery shop, or with whatever she needed. Some days she would feel better, and others she could barely get out of bed."

She then talks about how strong her mother has always been, and how despite her condition, she has supported Ally and their family from day one: "If there is anybody who is of great strength, it is my mom. I don’t know how she can deal with her back yet do everything she has done. She is someone I admire so much. I thank God for her."

Sadly, it seems things have taken a turn for the worse, but Ally and her family are trying to find the right doctor to help her. Harmonizers were trending #AllyWeAreHereForYou on Twitter shortly after she posted.
