Florida rock band A Day to Remember search for inspiration and direction on 'All Signs Point to Lauderdale,' a track from their latest album, 'What Separates Me From You.'

Like most of A Day to Remember's songs, 'All Signs Point to Lauderdale' combines elements of metalcore and pop-punk, resulting in a heavy, yet melodic tune.

A Day to Remember frontman Jeremy McKinnon tells PopCrush, "This song is about feeling like you're stuck in a place that's leading you nowhere. It's also about standing up for yourself and taking charge of your life."

These themes are seen in the song's hook: "I hate this town, it's so washed up / And all my friends don't give a f--- / They tell me that it's just bad luck / When will I find where I fit in?"

The band recently filmed the video in Los Angeles. "We had to fly into LA on an off day of our tour to shoot in one day," McKinnon says. "We then left early the next morning and played a show that night. Can't slow down!"

'What Separates Me From You,' the group's fourth studio album, entered the Billboard Album chart at No. 11 in November. The band, who will be spending the summer on the Warped Tour, recently earned a Kerrang Award nomination for Best Music Video for their last single, 'All I Want.'
