Aaron Hernandez's Ex-Fiancee Slams Tom Brady 'Cruel' Roast

Aaron Hernandez’s former fiancée has slammed Tom Brady’s Netflix roast for featuring “cruel” jokes about her late partner.

The shamed Patriots player’s ex-partner Shayanna Jenkins hit out after the show aired live on the streamer on Sunday (May 5) and included a string of gags about him after he died by suicide in prison in 2017 while serving a life sentence for the 2013 murder of semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd, 27.

Shayanna, 34, who is the mom of Hernandez’s only child, an 11-year-old girl, told TMZ: “It’s sad that I’m trying to raise my children in such a cruel world.”

She added even though many people have opinions about Hernandez and his life their daughter “is still quite present."

Hernandez was found to have a severe case of the degenerative brain disease CTE, which can cause violent mood swings, depression and other cognitive disorders.

Former NFL player Julian Edelman joked at Tom’s Netflix roast, held at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, about Hernandez being “hung” as part of a gag of big manhoods.

Comic Nikki Glaser, 39, also made a jibe about Hernandez having a “ring around his neck."

Viewers of the roast also hit out at the Hernandez gags, saying they “unfunny."

One said online: “Laughing at a guy who committed suicide for a cheap laugh. F---ed up.”

Others called it “poor taste”, “awful” and “trash."

Tom, 46, was also mocked at the roast for not seeing his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen’s relationship with her jiu-jitsu trainer coming.

The retired NFL player finalised his divorce from the supermodel, 43, on 28 October, 2022, after 13 years of marriage, with the catwalk icon first starting to train with martial artist Joaquim Valente, 34, in 2021.

Comic Kevin Hart, 44, who led Tom’s live roast, told Tom: “You sometimes got to f– your coach. You know who else f–’d their coach? Gisele. She f–’d that karate man.”

The camera panned to Tom, who smiled but seemed uncomfortable, as Kevin carried on: “I mean, Jesus Christ, Tom. One of the smartest quarterbacks ever played a game. How did you not see this coming? Eight f–’ing karate classes a day.

“Eight karate classes a day and she’s still a white belt. F– Tom. The only bruises she had were on her (bum.) Everybody should have known it.”

Tom and Gisele have son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10, and the model’s relationship with Joaquim was publicly confirmed in February 2024.

Gisele recently slammed speculation she started her romance with the martial artist before her split from Tom.
