Justin Bieber is heading to the small screen -- well, sort of. The 'Boyfriend' singer is working with ABC to develop a single-camera (think '30 Rock'-style) sitcom about his life.

TV Guide reports that Biebs and his ever-present manager Scooter Braun are working together to executive produce the project, which would focus on the "awkward teen years" before superstardom and his own odd family dynamic. Fellow executive producers Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi will also be on board to aid in writing the script for ABC Studios and Scooter Braun Films. These are the guys who worked on 'Entourage,' so you can bet this won't be a flash in the pan series if it gets picked up.

The show won't be Biebs' first time in front of TV cameras. Aside from his own special, 'Justin Bieber: All Around the World,' he's also guest starred on 'CSI' and hosted his own special episode of 'Punk'd.' This may groom him for his big movie debut!

It's unclear whether Bieber will star in the series, considering his hectic touring, recording and promoting schedule. In addition, since the show focuses on a pre-fame Biebs, it may be tough for him to pull off without a bowl cut and a baby face.
