Although she already has an accomplished career as an actress, 'Little Miss Sunshine' starlet Abigail Breslin is making her debut as a singer with the single 'Fight for Me.'

'Fight for Me' is featured on the soundtrack to Breslin's film, 'Janie Jones.' In the movie, Breslin portrays a 13-year-old girl who informs a jaded rock star that she is his daughter after her mother (a former groupie) abandons her.

Even though she just turned 15 in April, Breslin shows her mature nature in 'Fight for Me.' The song's heavy lyrics are translated beautifully through Breslin's soft, emotional vocal performance as she sings from the perspective of her strong-willed character Janie Jones. The song also features simple acoustic guitar chords throughout the majority of the song, lending to its touching quality.

Many actors have tried to have attempted the cross over to careers in music, with some failing along the way (yes, we're looking at you Lindsay Lohan) and some prevailing. Although Breslin's vocal range in 'Fight for Me' isn't dazzling, this is definitely a solid first attempt from the teenage actress. 'Fight for Me' tugs at your heart strings, with a soothing beat and lyrics that people from all walks of life can relate to.
