About to Pop: Jason Derulo, Phillip Phillips + More Singles

Way to go, Chris Rene, who is the newest champion of our About to Pop series! The 'X Factor' alum came over a lot of hardships to make it to where he is today, and we couldn't be happier that Rene's 'Young Homie' is the latest About to Pop track. You can tune in to our weekend radio show this Saturday and Sunday (June 2 and 3) to hear 'Young Homie' when it airs on more than 20 stations nationwide!

This week, Jason Derulo and the newest 'American Idol,' Phillip Phillips, are leading our fresh batch of About to Pop contenders. Derulo is hoping to come out of the competition 'Undefeated' with the help of his 2012 single, while Phillips' original song 'Home' is also in the running. Rita Ora is also vying for her chance to become the About to Pop victor with her track 'How We Do (Party),' as are Gym Class Heroes with their Ryan Tedder-featured tune 'The Fighter.' Finally, up-and-coming songstress Bean is giving it another go with her song 'Cops and Robbers.'
