Phillip Phillips has more than just his ‘American Idol‘ win to celebrate… he’s the winner of our latest About to Pop challenge! His original song ‘Home’ will be featured on PopCrush’s Top 20 countdown this weekend, which airs on over 20 radio stations nationwide. Congratulations, Phillip!
With a new week upon us, it’s time for another batch of potential About to Pop champions. Kelly Clarkson is contending this week with her latest ‘Stronger’ single ‘Dark Side,’ and singer-songwriter Olly Murs is representing the U.K. with his Chiddy Bang-featured single ‘Heart Skips a Beat.’
Joining Murs is fellow English recording artist Cher Lloyd, who is also in the running this week with ‘Want U Back.’ Finally, Hot Chelle Rae could become the next featured About to Pop track with their single ‘Honestly,’ but they’ll have to beat out Grouplove and their indie pop song ‘Tongue Tied’ first.
