In shocking news, it looks like drummer of legendary rock band AC/DC, Phil Rudd, has reportedly been charged with attempting to procure a murder. He allegedly tried to hire a hitman to have two men killed.

According to Stuff.co.nz, the charges were made while the drummer -- who lives in New Zealand -- had his home raided by police earlier today (Nov. 5). He was also charged with possession of methamphetamine and cannabis. Rudd did not enter a plea, choosing instead to remain silent in court, and is set to be back in court in three weeks. You can see a video of the arraignment here.

Details of the disturbing case are still emerging, and Rudd has been ordered to have no contact with the man he allegedly attempted to hire to carry out the hit.

Rudd was noticeably absent from AC/DC's recent promotional and video shoots, though it is not known whether the two incidents are related.
