Less than a week after revealing the first single off his upcoming album, The Original High, Adam Lambert shared the first visual from the video for "Ghost Town."

The American Idol runner-up posted a still frame from the video on Twitter yesterday (April 25) to give his fans a taste of what to expect. The black and white image is a closeup shot of the pop singer superimposed onto another frame that shows him in mid-song with his hand grabbing the base of his neck. You can see the image below.

While that doesn't give you enough to figure out what the concept for the video is, Adam did say that Hype Williams will be directing the video. Credited with epic videos for Missy Elliott, Beyonce, Pharrell Williams and Jennifer Lopez, there's no doubt that Adam will be in some really good hands with this director leading the way. Although we're not too sure when the clip will release, Adam did promise that it will be "coming soon."

In the meantime, you can hear "Ghost Town" in its entirety now here. After teasing fans with two clips of the track, he released the full version on April 21 and shared his vision for the new album. Between the intermittent whistling and round EDM beats, there is a dancey yet moody element to the track and shows us what he means by going with a "dark" yet "sophisticated" theme for the new record.

Adam Lambert's upcoming LP, The Original High, is set to drop on June 16.
