'The Voice' judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton had intended to haze newcomers Usher and Shakira, but they weren't able to because the newbies were just too friendly.

"They kind of took the wind out of our sails, because they were so d--- nice and amazing and cool," Levine tells Christina Milian in a new video clip posted on Rolling Stone. But Shelton adds, "I had already peed on Usher's toothbrush before I realized what a cool guy he is."

Shelton does have some words of wisdom for Usher and Shakira. He says, "My advice to the new people is, just shut the h--- up and let the people that know what they're doing here do their jobs." Levine responds, "That was eloquent, articulate, beautifully said."

When Shelton asks his bro-mance partner Levine what he wants to learn from Usher, the Maroon 5 frontman tells the country singer, "I wanna learn how to dance well, 'cause I actually have a shot at maybe being a good dancer, whereas maybe you don't ... Your hips lie like a motherf---er."

Season 4 of 'The Voice' begins on March 25 on NBC. Original judges Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera are expected to reclaim their seats in the big red chairs in Season 5.
