Adam Levine Says He Never Believed in Marriage

Adam Levine has dated a string of models, but it was Victoria's Secret stunner Behati Prinsloo who finally got him to commit and is going to make an honest man out of him. The singer admitted that marriage was not in his prior plans. Clearly, Prinsloo is persuasive!

The two got engaged in July, shockingly so, and the Maroon 5 singer and 'The Voice' coach admitted that before Prinsloo, 24, catwalked into his life, he didn't believe in the institution of marriage.

"Famous last words, 'I'll never get married,'" Levine, 34, said while serving as the couch guest on 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.'

He continued, "I still don't necessarily think you have to get married unless you meet someone that makes you want to marry them. And then you marry them and it's wonderful."

Now that's quite a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed view of marriage, but of course we hope it works for the rock star and the model.

The insanely attractive pair has not set a wedding date, but Levine assured fans that they are "working on it."
