Sorry, Jennifer Love Hewitt. Singer Adam Levine recently revealed he's not at all sure he'll ever walk down the aisle.

The Maroon 5 frontman talked nuptials in the May issue of Paper Mag (quotes via Us Weekly). "I want to study marriage. I want to learn about it I want to know it," Levine said, adding that he's "extremely fascinated" by the institution of marriage.

However, that doesn't mean he's in a hurry to jump into it himself -- a factor that some sources say may have contributed to his split with model Anne V earlier this month. "I want to figure out whether or not I want to do it," he added. "I'm not just going to leap into it, because that's not good for anybody."

While earlier reports said that Anne V felt Levine didn't pay enough attention to her, with his workload, it's kind of an understandable situation for both. Maroon 5's new album, 'Overexposed,' hits shelves June 26, and he's doing a pretty kick-butt job coaching on this season of 'The Voice.' He'll also make his acting debut in the new season of 'American Horror Story.' Any one of those -- let alone all of them -- could easily cause a delay in the race to the altar.

Indeed, a source told Us of Levine's split with the Victoria's Model stunner, "As a woman, you get to a point where you want to get married, and Adam wasn't ready to take that step."
