Adam Levine isn't shy about sharing his opinions, and the Maroon 5 vocalist had some choice words for FOX News yesterday. The singer ripped into the station's conservative news programming, labeling them as "evil" and requesting that they never play his music ever again.

The 'Moves Like Jagger' crooner, who has dissed MTV in the past, posted his thoughts on Twitter yesterday, writing, "Dear Fox News, don't play our music on your evil f----ing channel ever again. Thank you." Tell 'em how you really feel, Adam.

We're not sure what prompted him to write the tweet about FOX News, but one thing is for sure, Levine struck a cord with some of FOX's newscasters. Andy Levy and Greg Gutfeld tweeted back at the singer, and they were not happy.

"Dear @AdamLevine, don’t make crappy f–king music ever again. Thank you,” Levy wrote, following up this tweet by saying, "Maroon 5's bio strangely fails to note the band was developed by the CIA as part of its enhanced interrogation techniques program."

Greg Gutfeld also fired back, writing, "Dear adam, That’s not music" and "fun joke: why did Maroon 5 cross the road? because crappy music is legal there! @adamlevine." Gutfeld seemed to be very angered over Levine's remark, because he then continued to make fun of some of Levine's more recent tweets.

Well, we also doubt Maroon 5 will be landing a performance slot on 'American Idol' any time soon -- we're sure that doesn't bother Levine and company one bit, however, especially since Levine has criticized that show in the past for suppressing the sexuality of gay contestants. FOX and Levine just don't mesh well together. It's a good thing 'The Voice' airs on NBC!
