If you were moved to purchase Adele's record-breaking release 25 at some point within the past ten months, consider yourself in extensive company. The "Hello" singer's third album has officially hit certified diamond status, according to the RIAA -- meaning 25 has already sold over 10 million copies in the U.S. alone since it first dropped back in November 2015.

While Adele is certainly no stranger to moving units (her 2011 album 21 hit over 10 million sales nearly two years after its initial release) it took her less time to sell more copies with 25, in this year 2016. Considering the current pop cultural climate -- where the majority of listeners consume their music via streaming sites, rendering the physical CD nearly obsolete -- it's an accomplishment not to be balked at.

This particular milestone also makes Adele the first woman to earn two diamond album certifications in the U.S. since Britney Spears did the same over 16 years ago with her 1999 debut Baby One More Time and then 2000's Oops I Did It Again.

But wait! Because Adele's list of musical accomplishments is seemingly unending, there's more: Her sophomore album 21 has been certified 14x platinum, while her debut release 19 is 3x platinum. Adele's two latest singles, “When We Were Young” and “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” have gone platinum, and the album’s lead single “Hello” — which also served as Adele’s much-needed re-introduction to the world after a lengthy and noticeable hiatus — is 7x platinum. Forever may she reign.
