Adele Poses Seductively in Front of Beyonce ‘Live at Roseland’ Poster
Since she's most famous for songs about heartbreak, it's easy to forget that chart queen Adele actually has a sense of humor. The chanteuse got silly for her Twitter followers this week as she paid homage to Beyonce.
Adele's Twitter, previously handled by her handlers, is now in her own hands (say that five times fast). On Dec. 4, the five-time Grammy nominee took to Twitter and wrote, "Right! Its [sic] me! I will start tweeting if 10k of u start following @drop4drop &their trip to India this wk. Its [sic] a wonderful charity. Go! A xxx"
It's clear that her fans listened, because the next day, Adele tweeted once more. "F*ck me that was quick! ThankU! I'm in bed, watchin Gladiator, eatin an apple. Heres [sic] a pic of me&Queen B last wk in NYC!X" The tweet featured a photo of the bundled up Brit mimicking Beyonce's sultry pose from her 'Live at Roseland: Elements of 4' DVD poster.
It's good to see Adele in good spirits. The singer had to call off all 2011 live engagements while she recovers from throat surgery. In the meantime, she's been cleaning up in award show nominations and wins and promoting her own concert DVD/CD package, 'Live at Royal Albert Hall.' The 'Countdown' songstress may be Queen Bey, but Adele is the queen of awards season.
