Have you read enough about Adele’s generous and long-awaited return to the airwaves yet? Hopefully not, because we’ve got more news for you, this time in relation to a significant blunder on the part of BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show’s Chris Evans.

During one of Adele’s undoubtedly many interviews today (October 23), Evans questioned her about a supposed alter-ego. He asked, “Don’t you have this kind of alter-ego that you pretend to become?”

When Adele responded with a confused “No, not really, I mean, I chat a lot,” Evans insisted, until Adele quickly caught on and cackled, "Sasha Fierce? That's Beyonce! Sasha Fierce is Beyonce's alter-ego and she's now Mrs. Carter. I wish I was Sasha Fierce."

Not only is Adele an entirely different person from Beyonce, but Sasha Fierce hasn’t been a relevant moniker for the “Countdown” singer since she released her game-changing surprise album back in 2013. It’s a strange mistake to make considering Adele is a huge artist in her own right, but the "Rumor Has It" singer handled it well, simply brushing the gaffe off and moving on to talk about her return to music instead.

Speaking about the long wait between albums, Adele said (via the Daily Mail), "I always want to make music that I think is good. I didn't want to come back with something that people wouldn't like."

So far, so good: Mere days after finally confirming the release of her upcoming third album 25, Adele stealth-dropped its lead single “Hello" at an ungodly hour earlier this morning (for those of us on U.S. soil, anyway), which has already been met with rave reviews.

25 is set to be released on November 20.
