Tonight at the 2011 American Music Awards, Adele won the award for Favorite Pop/Rock Album for her massively successful sophomore album '21.' The album, which includes the singles 'Rolling in the Deep' and 'Someone Like You,' has not only been one of the biggest this year, it will definitely go down in history as one the greatest of this time.

The cheeky British powerhouse couldn't attend the show in Los Angeles since she is recovering from throat surgery, and her positive energy and overall presence was definitely missed. There is no doubt that she would be performing on that stage if she wasn't sick, but we wish her nothing but the best during her recuperation. Rest those pipes, Adele! We can't wait for you to get back in the game.

After Adele was announced as the winner, presenter Jenny McCarthy offered to sing songs off of the singer's '21' album in order to make up for her absence. Thanks for the offer, Jenny, but nobody can sing those songs like Ms. Adele Laurie Blue Adkins! Get well soon, Adele!
