Even after crashing the Grammys, being shut down by Jennifer Lopez, and spending the night in jail, Ukranian television personality Vitalii Sediuk says he isn't such a bad guy after all. "My purpose is to entertain and to show a different emotion of celebrities," he explained during a recent sitdown with the Hollywood Reporter. "I’m not a crazy guy. I just think differently."

Sediuk explained his Grammy moment during the interview, revealing that he got in without a ticket, slipping in with credentialed friends thanks to lax security. "They didn’t check how many we had, so I was let in," he claimed. "First I went to the media line and interviewed quite a few celebrities, like Jennifer Lopez and Nicole Kidman.... Then I just followed one girl in a green dress through the gates. They checked my pockets but never asked to see a ticket. Only once I was inside the building did I realize, ‘Oh my gosh, it’s Katy Perry!'"

Having surely cost a few people their jobs with that little bit of info, Sediuk insisted that he meant Adele no harm when he walked out on stage while she was collecting her Grammy. "The idea to go on the stage came up at the last second. To be honest, Adele is my favorite singer," he insisted. "So when I heard her name, I came up with this idea to go up on the stage and say what I said. ... I pretended this was an award for me, and then I said, 'Thank you, Adele. You’re my inspiration.'"

A worthy sentiment, no doubt, but something tells us Sediuk might choose a different method of expression if he could do it all over again. "People were quite angry," he admitted. "I felt very nervous -- this will sound funny -- and I asked for water. And one guy was so furious, but he brought water. Then police guys took me to a room and asked a lot of questions about how I got inside" -- after which Sediuk spent the night in jail and found himself facing a March court date. Maybe send a letter next time?
