We can't wait for the new Adele album, and neither can the rest of the world. Now we have more details on the privacy-loving star's new project. She'll be working with fellow Brit singer-songwriter Phil Collins!

"I've just started to work with Adele," Collins said on Inside South Florida (via CBN News). "She contacted me to write together."

Collins, 62, joked that he didn't know a thing about the 25-year-old Grammy sweeper. When asked about her massive success, Collins told press, "I wasn't actually too aware. I live in a cave! But she's achieved an incredible amount. I really love her voice. I love some of that stuff she's done, too."

Adele's followup to her record-breaking smash, '21,' is still shrouded in mystery, but whispers have pointed to a mid-2014 release.

The former Genesis frontman is coming out of a musical retirement to work with Adele, after previously calling it quits to be a full-time father to his two young sons. If there was ever an artist to come out of a cave for, it's her!
