It was only a matter of time before Adele's lovelorn, heart-on-the-sleeve new single 'Someone Like You' got an odd, viral remake. The song has been remixed as a synth pop ode to buff-chested werewolf Jacob Black of the 'Twilight' series, played by Taylor Lautner.

Since 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part I,' the next installment in the teen vampire franchise, cruises into theaters in one month, now is the perfect time to take a pop gem and refashion it according to Twihard-approved standards and lore.

We all know that Jacob pines for Bella Swan, but he'll never measure up to her beloved Edward Cullen. We are partial to Eddie ourselves. It's the eyes! The brooding! The pale skin! The full, flushed lips! Swoon! However, this song follows Jacob's perspective as he yearns for Bella.

Yes, there is a liberal use of Auto-Tune and no, it's nowhere near as epic as the original. But is it damn funny? Oh yes. The lyrics are constructed appropriately according to 'Twilight' lore. Sample line: "Old friend why are you so shy / Ain't like you drink blood / Or hide from the light."

Did you catch that jab at Edward? Can you blame him? When the one you love is in love with someone else, don't you know it's torture and a living hell, to borrow a phrase from Rod Stewart.

But wait. It gets even better, kids! "Jacob" sings, "I had hoped you'd see my abs and that you'd be reminded / That for me it isn't over." There is infinite power in those abs! Remember, Edward Cullen did snidely remark "Doesn't he own a shirt?" in the last film! We'll still take the pasty-faced vampire over the fit werewolf anyday. No disrespect, Jacob!
