Ever since the release of her sophomore album '21,' Adele has been dominating the UK's album charts. So far, Adele has held onto the No. 1 chart position for seven consecutive weeks, and she has officially tied with Leona Lewis as the only female artists the achieve this distinction. Lewis set the record in 2007 for her critically acclaimed album 'Spirits.'

Adele and Leona Lewis' tied record is preceded only by James Blunt's 2005 album 'Back to Bedlam,' which spent eight weeks on the charts, and the Beatles' 2000 greatest hits compilation '1,' which holds the all-time record for nine consecutive weeks on the UK album charts.

Adele has had some stiff competition on the UK album charts, with big British acts like Jessie J, Beady Eye and Elbow hot on her heels. We wonder if Adele will be able to beat out the Beatles' record. With her emotionally charged lyrics and beautiful vocals, we aren't ruling it out!
