Forget vitamin regimens and Lamaze classes — Alanis Morissette is preparing for childbirth as she sees fit: by arranging a skinny-dipping photo shoot in a pool's deep end.

Yesterday (June 29), the singer shared an Instagram image that finds her serenely floating beneath the surface in which she, herself, looks sort of like a sonogram shot. Morissette captioned the image with a quote from her son Ever, who noted people should be "extra gentle around ladies because they are the most helpful people in the world."

And followers had nothing but good vibes to extend — one noted "Being underwater is magical, especially when pregnant" while another wrote "Like floating in space!"

Morissette and husband Mario "Souleye" Treadway first announced in February that they were expecting a second child with the help of an animated video. In the clip, which features Morissette's song "Into a King," cartoon depictions of Morissette and Treadway meet in a yoga class and fall in love across adventure hikes and lazy river rides. Ultimately, they get married and have son Ever, and the clip ends with news of a new addition to the family.

Morissette and Treadway married in May 2010 and had son Ever Morissette-Treadway in December 2010.
