Alex Young shows off her dance moves and tells a flirty guy 'Don't Play With Me' in her new music video, which premieres exclusively here on PopCrush.

The video was choreographed by Sheryl Murakami, who has worked with some of the biggest dance-pop stars in the business, including Beyonce and Lady Gaga. Young, a former child actress who once filmed scenes with Mr. Snuffleupagus on 'Sesame Street,' joins two backup dancers as they perform a routine that captures the sassy attitude of the track.

Alex sings about being at the club and spotting a guy who is checking her out: "Then he grabbed my hand, took me to the dance floor / Think it's about to go down, go down, go down / The way he movin' it, good God / Baby don't leave, it would break my heart / Hold up, honey where you think you're goin', come here / Don't play with me / You'd better do that dance, do that dance."

Young is a huge fan of fashion, and even has her own clothing line called A Young Rose. So, even though the video's concept of three performers dancing in a room is rather simplified, the clip has a glamorous quality to it, particularly when the dancing footage is spliced with shots of Young wearing a gown and posing with an old-time microphone, looking like a vintage Hollywood starlet.

'Don't Play With Me' is the first single off Young's upcoming EP, which is targeted for a Spring 2012 release. She'll be opening for Cee Lo Green on Dec. 28 in St. Petersburg, Fla., giving fans a preview of the live show she intends to take on the road next year.
