One day after debuting the Inferno Version of her new song 'Girl on Fire,' Alicia Keys has released the chilled-out Blue Light Version of the same track.

Where the Inferno remix was powerful, with booming drum beats and a cameo from Nicki Minaj, the Blue Light rendition goes in a quieter direction, with mellow instrumentation and a restrained vocal.

"Like a match to a flame," Keys whispers to open the song, recalling the similar intro to Janet Jackson's 'That's the Way Love Goes.' This mix has more of a traditional R&B feel than the radio-ready Inferno Version.

Alicia can belt it out with the best of them, but here she holds back so as not to overpower the tune, even as she sings the empowering message, "She's just a girl and she's hot like a flame / She's on fire, on fire."

Rap-Up reports that Keys will perform 'Girl on Fire' in one of its three versions this Thursday (Sept. 6) at the MTV Video Music Awards. 'Girl on Fire' is the name of Keys' next album, her first since 2009's 'The Element of Freedom.' The record is scheduled for release on Nov. 27.
