Alicia Keys is bringing the heat this fall with her fifth album 'Girl on Fire.' The R&B songbird unveiled the cover art of the album on her official website.

The black-and-white cover shows a determined Keys dressed in all black with hands on her waist. On the singer's fingers are several gaudy rings and a bracelet on her wrist. It's a very subtle yet effective cover that reveals where Keys' mindset is at right now. “I have arrived at a place in myself that I am comfortable being exactly who I am in this moment and sharing it with no reservations," she writes to her fans.

On her blog, The 'New Day' singer reflected on the recording process and how rejuvenated she is to bring new music to her fans. "'Girl on Fire' is about new beginnings, new perspectives and fresh starts," she writes. "There is something really empowering about finding yourself and your own inner strength. On one song, One of the lines I wrote says, “I’ll never be perfect, but at least now I’m brave!”

Although the phrase "girl on fire" has been connected to the Hunger Games project as a description of heroine Katniss Everdeen, Keys' mentions none of this in her post. But, undoubtedly, Keys is hungry for the spotlight again.

Alicia Keys plans to release her hot new album 'Girl on Fire' on Nov. 27.
