After performing her soaring piano ballad 'Not Even the King' on the 2012 Stand Up to Cancer telethon that aired on Friday (Sept. 7), Alicia Keys delivers the accompanying lyric video for the song on her VEVO channel.

Although quite different from her anthemic hit 'Girl on Fire,' the song is just as inspirational and emotive. The artsy clip gets its muse from late artist-painter Basquiat and creates a collage of typographic images to paint Keys' sky-reaching vocals.

On the piano-driven track, Keys' voice soars as she croons about a love that is bigger than the entire world. "So darling listen, your arms around me worth more than a kingdom / Yeah believe that, the trust that we feel the kings never felt that / Yeah, this is the song we sing, we don't need anything / They can't afford this, this is priceless / They can't afford what we got, not even the king," she sings.

It's great to hear and see how Keys' vision of empowerment is taking shape with her songs and visuals. "Thank u so much 4 ur love!" she recently tweeted. "This album has so much n store 4 u, I believe it will take u 2 so many places [inside] of [yourself]! I'm super excited!!"

If this is the kind of music Keys is bringing to the masses, then we can't wait to hear her new album 'Girl on Fire,' which arrives in stores on Nov. 27.
