Watch Preview of Alicia Keys’ on ‘Oprah’s Master Class’

Alicia Keys was not a child of privilege. "I was running from pimps and prostitutes to boom, I was on 'The Oprah Show,'" Keys says in this 31-second preview from her upcoming episode of 'Oprah's Master Class,' discussing her ascent in the music industry.

"You are meeting people that are lying to you to get whatever they want out of you," she says. Of course, it immediately made us wonder if this girl on fire shares Kelly Clarkson's opinion of their shared mentor Clive Davis.

The singer also opened up about family, presumably her formerly estranged relationship with her father. "The only person who gets hurt from all this anger is me," she says.
