It's inevitable. When you're a Taylor Swift fan -- or even if you're Taylor Swift herself -- you're going to be faced with the criticism that the crazy talented singer-songwriter only pens songs about guys and her past relationships.

While yes, many of her biggest hits have been based on her prior romances (and yes, we're totally guilty of obsessing over the Haylor references on 1989), T. Swift writes plenty of songs about the women in her life, too. And we've compiled a photo gallery to prove it.

If you've been a diehard Swiftie since Taylor's first album, you'll know that she's been penning songs about women throughout her entire career, starting with the ultra-romantic "Mary's Song (Oh My My My)" back in 2006.

Over the years, she's written tunes about everyone from her high school bestie Abigail to fearless heroines (oh hey, Katniss Everdeen) to Ethel Kennedy -- and yes, as the rumor mill churns, even Katy Perry. Of course, she's also honored her family and famous friends as well, penning several tracks about her beloved mom, Andrea, and everyone's favorite party-with-your-girls tune, "22," about Selena Gomez and Dianna Agron.

So here ya go, haters, critics and, of course, Swifties -- a photo gallery chock-full of Taylor Swift songs written about women, from her friends and family to badass movie characters and pretty much everyone in between. Check 'em out in the gallery above. And consider it your dose of T. Swift knowledge for the day.
