Amanda Bynes has taken to Twitter to speak out about her condition, revealing that she has been diagnosed as bipolar and manic depressive.

"I need to get an apartment and my parents won't give me access to any of my funds," she shared. "I was diagnosed bi - polar and manic depressive so I'm on medication and I'm seeing my psychologist and psychiatrist weekly so I'm fine :D," she tweeted.

"Im not living with my parents," Bynes continued. "Im not legally obligated to."

"My lawyer said if I comply with the courts and take my meds and see my psychologist and psychiatrist weekly then I will get unconserved," she added. "Thank GOD."

Though Bynes recently attempted to end her parents' conservatorship, a judge has ruled that it still stands. The 'She's the Man' actress had been placed on a involuntary psychiatric hold since Oct. 10 until she was released last week after a hearing officer deemed her "stable enough."

Despite her diagnosis revelation, it seemed that the former Nickelodeon star quickly backtracked, tweeting this morning that one of her friends had hacked her account.

"I was at a friends apartment last night and one of my friends tweeted my phone," Bynes wrote. "Sorry guys!"

Previously, everyone in Amanda Bynes' camp (including her mother) denied that the actress had been diagnosed with any mental illness.
