Amanda Bynes was reportedly under the influence of Adderall when she was pulled over and arrested for driving under the influence on Sunday, Sept. 28.

TMZ reports that the medication was prescribed to the actress by a doctor and she took it before driving that night. The site claims that despite the drug being prescription, it will not be able to serve as a defense against the DUI because the actress was still driving impaired.

Bynes was pulled over in Van Nuys, Calif. after she stopped in the middle of an intersection for a red light. She was arrested for a DUI after she failed multiple field sobriety tests.

According to TMZ, Bynes' DUI may violate her current three-year probation for reckless driving -- though the fact that the medication was prescription could help her out in that case.

However, the site also claims that the 'She's the Man' actress may not have been doing as well as we initially thought post-rehab. TMZ reports that she has moved out of her parents' house and is no longer under their conservatorship. She has reportedly been smoking pot again and no longer taking her anti-psychotic medication.

For their part, Bynes' parents have maintained that the actress has never been diagnosed with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder and has not been on any medication.

After an extensive period of time that included bizarre Twitter rants, facial piercings, multiple driving-related incidents and court-ordered treatment, Bynes seemed to have been doing well post-rehab, enrolling in fashion classes and looking healthier than ever.

We continue to wish her the best during this difficult time.
