Amber Rose came to her ex Kanye West's defense regarding his ongoing feud with Taylor Swift, and offered some insight into why he called Taylor about that "Famous" line in the first place.

Amber addressed the controversy surrounding Kanye and Taylor Swift in a sneak peek of an upcoming episode of The Amber Rose Show. Though she has no reason to defend Kanye considering some of the things he’s said about her in the press (remember that 30 showers line? Yikes), she did it anyway.

“I’m not the biggest fan of Kanye,” Amber began. “But I will say this. I was next to him at the VMAs that year and I remember the repercussions after that and I remember Taylor’s mother and father coming up to us and saying, ‘One day, Kanye, you’re gonna have a daughter and someone’s gonna do that to you.’

“And he was so remorseful," she continued. "I mean, he really felt so bad because it wasn’t about Taylor. It was about Beyonce and her video. We all know that Beyonce should’ve won that, it’s no shade. He didn’t want to interrupt her moment, it really wasn’t about Taylor. He didn’t even know who she was at the time."

Amber went on, making the point that Kanye suffered significant backlash from that one moment, and he would never put himself through it again.

"He really went though a lot of bullsh--t, and I know that Kanye would never, ever go through that again by not calling Taylor and saying, ‘Heads up, I’m about to kinda go write this verse real quick. Just wanna make sure you’re cool with it.’ I know that about Kanye," she added.

Amber then ended the segment by talking about Kanye’s video for “Famous,” and asked why she wasn’t notified her likeness would be involved.

"So, I say all of that to say, why didn't I get a phone call for using a naked wax figure in your video Kanye?" she said. "I mean, Taylor gets a call but I don't get a call. So please stay the f---k out of the news so I don't need to talk about your ass anymore."

Amber also received some flack from fans for switching up her look with a blonde bob and blue contacts, which had fans speculating over her ethnicity in Instagram comments. As is her way, Amber quickly shut them down, writing, "I'm Black/ Portuguese/ Irish and Italian. So now y'all can stop arguing in my f---in comments about it."
