'The Axeman Cometh' -- the sixth episode of 'American Horror Story: Coven' -- reveals a lot of major plot-turning events. The powerful Zoe summons the spirit of a madman who enjoys murdering women with an axe. Fiona lets her guard down and unexpectedly starts chemo in an effort to be around for her daughter longer. Cordelia, who has lost her vision, now has some kind of all-seeing power that sheds light on secrets that her husband and mother have been keeping from her. Cordelia's husband is actually secretly a witch hunter. Oh, and Madison is brought back to life by the Stevie Nicks-loving Misty. (And judging by the Twitter crowd, the quote of the night probably goes to Madison, whose first words after rising from the dead are "I need a cigarette.")

As usual, while all these WTF? things are unfolding (and keeping us hooked on the show), our 'Coven' girls deal with it all in style. Here are seven of our favorite looks from tonight's episode.

Zoe's Effortlessly Chic Side Braid

Zoe seems to be the kind of laid back girl who can roll out of bed, not brush her hair or put on makeup, and still look cool and put together. It's not really fair to the rest of us, but luckily, copying her fun little braid is as easy as doing a quick YouTube tutorial search.

Misty's Bohemian, Oxblood Red Dress and Perfectly Placed Hat

With the legendary Stevie Nicks as an icon, Misty can do no wrong. You'll have to watch the episode to get the full effect of her fringed dress, wild waves and well-appointed hat, but take note of this: she sort of modernized the look by picking a color that's way on trend for the fall 2013 fashion season.

...And Her Mix-and-Match Accessories

Why pick only one ring when you have five fingers? Why wear only one bracelet when you've got three? FYI, this shot was taken during the scene where Misty resurrects Madison, who we've really missed over the last couple episodes. Welcome back!

Madison's Dress, Even If the Creepy Butler Likes It a Little Too Much

Actually, it's highly unlikely that this dress belongs to Madison. It's white, it's frilly and it's pretty old-fashioned, so it's more likely that it was sitting in the attic with Spalding for a few decades. But for a death dress -- you know, the dress that she was wearing while rotting away in a coffin in that attic -- it's actually really pretty, in a weird corpse bride kind of way.

... And Her Cozy, Casual, Let's-Drink-Hot-Cocoa Sweater and Scarf

She's also probably not drinking hot cocoa here, but either way, doesn't this outfit just feel warm and fuzzy and make you want to sit around the tree on Christmas morning and open presents in their beautiful white New Orleans mansion?

Cordelia's Super Flattering Lacy Black Lingerie

Cordelia's newly blind and also happens to be getting chased around her bedroom by an insane murderer, yet she still looks amazing in only a half-slip and bra. It's simple and it's classy -- and she somehow manages to avoid any on-camera wardrobe malfunctions while dodging getting hit by an axe. Take note.

Polka Dots, Lace and Stripes: A Power Trio of Patterns

The girls of 'Coven' all have their own signature powers and styles. Maybe it's a coincidence that the show's stylist put them in patterns that are different, yet weirdly complimentary, in the scene where they use a spell to release the axeman from the house. Maybe not. Either way, it works. Try it out with your friends!
