Amber Holcomb brought a wealth of confidence, talent and poise to the stage of ‘American Idol’ tonight (March 5). Her beautiful rendition of Whitney Houston’s ‘I Believe in You and Me’ wowed the audience and received a standing ovation from all four judges.

Holcomb's elimination during Season 11 of ‘Idol’ gave her the fuel she needed to make a comeback, and her newfound sense of individuality and fearlessness was not lost on the panelists.

“You had no shortage of confidence, and rightly so,” complimented Keith Urban. “Your tone is exquisite.” Nicki Minaj was also blown away by her delivery. “Sweetheart, your vocals are surpassing even this competition. I’m being honest. Nothing that came before you is even on that level.”

“Amber is definitely in it to win it right now!” declared Randy Jackson. He praised her for believing in herself and having no fear. Mariah Carey remarked that she's one of her absolute favorite people in the contest and she wishes nothing but the best for her. “You’re eighteen years old and you can sing your behind off and I’m so happy that you’re in this competition.”

Even ‘Idol’ host Ryan Seacrest was impressed by her performance and praised her on a job well done. “It was one of those great moments that we love to watch on this show,” he said.

Holcomb was all smiles as she left the stage. She had every right to be pleased by the judges' comments, but now, it's up to America to decide if she'll move on.
