Yesterday, PopCrush had the pleasure of chatting with former 'American Idol' contestant Haley Reinhart, who has been busy promoting her upcoming debut album 'Listen Up!' and its sultry lead single 'Free.' Of course, the current season of 'American Idol' came up in conversation, and the 21-year-old songstress said she has been tuning in for Season 11.

"Yeah, I've been catching up with it," Reinhart says when asked if she's been watching 'Idol' lately. "The last two or three weeks or so have been absolutely crazy, but before then I was really checking it out. I was really excited, especially when the show first came on, because I had already made it and I'm doing my own thing and I made all my goals and aspirations come true, so now I'm just kind of watching and seeing all of these other kids' hopes and dreams come true. It's really something special."

Obviously, we had to ask the burning question: Which Season 11 contestant is Ms. Reinhart rooting for? Although she admits to seeing a whole lot of talent on 'Idol,' 16-year-old Jessica Sanchez is the one who really wowed her.

"I mean, ever since I saw Jessica Sanchez in the um, it might've even been before Vegas or it might've been Vegas," Reinhart says. "I don't know, either way, when I saw [Sanchez], I knew that chick was something special. She's got the whole package. She's got a huge voice and she's so young! I can't believe it. They all have great voices so it's gonna be tough -- you never know what can happen -- but I see a lot of careers for them in the future."

Even though Reinhart didn't take home the 'Idol' crown, she's still gone on to flourish musically, landing a record deal with 19 Entertainment/Interscope pretty much immediately after being ousted from the competition -- as you recall, Reinhart made it to the top three, but didn't make it past that point (Scotty McCreery went on to win). So, will Jessica Sanchez be able to achieve 'Idol' glory? Even if she doesn't, we're guessing she'll pull a Haley and move on to huge things regardless.
