It was another blow-the-roof off performance by Jacob Lusk on this week's 'American Idol.' This week's theme is Motown, and contestants were asked to take on these R&B and soul classics.

Lusk chose Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's 'You're All I Need to Get By,' and he didn't just get by. Lusk, looking ever-dapper in a white suit jacket, once again elicited the "the other best performance in the entire history of the show" comment from longtime judge Randy Jackson!

While Lusk is known for his bombastic style, he exercised uncharacteristic restraint for much of the ballad. However, he still managed to inject his signature, over-the-top, "notice me" wails into the mix at just the right time.

"The great Berry Gordy is somewhere saying 'Oh my God,'" Jackson proclaimed. "It is the other best performance in the entire history of the show. You took your time, like a true professional." Jackson summed it up even further, saying, "You know what was wrong with that performance? Absolutely nothing."

Jennifer Lopez was also visibly moved, telling Lusk "you made us beg for those notes."

After his performance, people came on stage to bestow hugs on Lusk. Something tells us Gordy will definitely say "Oh my God" when he hears what Lusk did to this classic song. Something also tells us we will be hearing more from Jacob Lusk next week.
