Fresh off the news of their joint Future Now tour in 2016, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas have been added to the roster of American Music Awards performers. They join already-announced performers One Direction, Carrie Underwood, 5 Seconds of Summer, Selena Gomez. Jennifer Lopez will host the November ceremony, and she'll be performing as well.

Like their fellow AMA performers, Demi and Nick both received adorable Twitter emojis with their hashtag — though the latter is a chart symbol in lieu of a tiny Jonas. Wonder which song he'll play???

Ariana Grande also revealed via Twitter that she's set to perform her new single "Focus" at the awards show, and X Factor-formed girl group Fifth Harmony will be presenting at AMAs.

Taylor Swift, the still-reigning queen of all music award shows, takes the most nominations this year with six in total. Her friend, singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, and current chart-dominator The Weeknd both have a formidable five nominations, including artist of the year. Check out the full list of nominees here.

Stay tuned for more performance announcements! We'll have complete coverage of the broadcast, which airs on November 22 at 8 PM EST on NBC.
