Devastating news: Former America's Next Top Model contestant Mirjana Puhar was killed earlier this week in a gruesome triple homicide. She was only 19 years old.

Puhar, who competed on Season 21 of the show, was found dead in her boyfriend's Charlotte, N.C. home on Tuesday (Feb. 24), TMZ reports. Her boyfriend, 23-year-old Jonathan Alvarado, as well as his roommate, Jusmar Gonzaga-Garcia, 21, were also killed. The site claims that the model had recently moved in with them.

According to TMZ, police have arrested 19-year-old Emmanuel Jesus Rangel and have charged him with three counts of murder. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that they believe the murders to be "drug related" and that Puhar, Alvarado and Gonzaga-Garcia knew the murderer.

Cosmopolitan reports that Tyra Banks and ANTM executive producer Ken Mok have issued a statement about the tragic loss of Mirjana Puhar.

"We are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic news about Mirjana Puhar," they said (quote via Cosmo). "She was a vivacious and promising young woman... Our hearts and prayers go out to her loved ones."

Additionally, Tyra Banks mourned the young model on Twitter:

TMZ reports that a friend of the couple called the police after finding the bodies in the home. That friend had received a call from someone who had heard gunshots go off. The friend, who reportedly did not see the third victim's body, also claimed that money was scattered around the house.

Rest in peace, Mirjana Puhar, Jonathan Alvarado and Jusmar Gonzaga-Garcia. Our thoughts are with their friends and families during this unimaginably difficult time.
