Amy Poehler may be one of the last Hollywood stars we'd expect to take drugs, but in her new memoir, 'Yes, Please' the 'Parks and Recreation' actress details a time when she did cocaine, Ecstasy and more.

In an excerpt reportedly obtained by UK's the Mirror, Poehler writes of her past drug use in a chapter called -- in typical Amy Poehler humor -- 'Obligatory Drug Stories.'

"I tried cocaine, which I instantly loved but eventually hated," she writes. "Cocaine is terrific if you want to hang out with people you don't know very well and play ping-pong all night. It's bad for almost everything else … The day after cocaine is rough."

It turns out that the day after taking Ecstasy can be rough too, as she learned after doing the drug at an Upright Citizens Brigade party one New Year's Eve, during which she and her comedic pals "danced and drank water and loved each other."

"I also remember the next day when I thought I had no friends and I was so sad I wanted to sink into the carpet and permanently live there," she says.

But when she became a mom (to Archie 6, and Abel, 4), with her ex-husband Will Arnett, everything changed.

"The next day is the thing I can’t pull off anymore," she explains. "How do you explain to a four and six-year-old that you can't play Rescue Bots because you have to spend all day in bed eating Cape Cod potato chips and watching 'The Bicycle Thief'?"

Still, Poehler admits that there is one drug that she still occasionally partakes in -- though it's in much smaller increments now.

"I can't perform, drive or write stoned," she says, "and therefore I smoke pot a lot less than I used to."
