Amy Schumer's had a truly incredible year so far, and she's about to cement her mainstream success with the creme de la creme of hosting gigs on this week's (October 10) episode of Saturday Night Live.

In a series of promo videos for the upcoming show -- which will feature performances from musical guest The Weeknd -- Schumer and cast member Vanessa Bayer cycle through a series of super short skits, as is SNL tradition. Topics vary from Schumer's newfound humbleness (proclaimed by Bayer after Schumer describes herself as richer and more successful) to a weekend joke about The Weeknd (Bayer says, “I think it’s so cute that The Weeknd is on Saturday Night Live, you know, because Saturday is, like, on the weekend").

At one point, Bayer sounds off on Schumer’s many accolades — from her successful comedy Trainwreck (which Bayer was also in) to winning her very first Emmy (Inside Amy Schumer won for Variety Sketch Series) -- and then quickly implies that it'll all come crashing down soon.

Schumer’s hosting gig comes just a week after Miley Cyrus hosted the season premiere of SNL. Next up is Tracy Morgan, who is slated to host the October 17th episode of the comedy series. It will mark his first television performance since being involved in a debilitating car crash last year that left him in critical condition. Morgan tweeted about the hosting gig, writing, “Stoked to be going home….#SNL.”

You can catch Schumer hosting SNL when it airs this Saturday at 11:30PM EST.
