According to multiple reports, Amy Winehouse has been found dead in her London home. The singer's death has been confirmed by local police. She was discovered around 4PM Saturday, London time, and the cause of her death is currently unknown.

The Metropolitan Police released an official statement, though they didn't name Winehouse in their report. The release reads:

Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased. On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained."

The story is still breaking, so not much information regarding her passing is available at this time. We'll bring you more on this story as it develops.

Just last month, the 'Rehab' singer canceled her European concerts following an alarming performance in Serbia. Winehouse checked out of rehab in early June after only a week of treatment.
