Actress Annette Bening walked the red carpet at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards in one of the night's many glittering metallic gowns, but with one unique accessory — her husband, actor Warren Beatty.

Bening was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy for 20th Century Women, directed by Mike Mills. It was her eighth Golden Globe nomination. She has won twice in this category before: in 2011 for The Kids Are All Right and in 2005 for Being Julia, but lost this year to Emma Stone for La La Land.

Hosted by Jimmy Fallon, the 74th annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony took place at the Beverly Hilton hotel on Sunday, January 8, broadcast live on NBC. The 2017 Golden Globes nominees were announced on December 12, with actress Meryl Streep selected as the honoree of the year’s Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award.
