The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, is celebrating the 50th anniversary of her first album with a new release, 'Aretha: A Woman Falling Out Of Love,' to be released at Walmart on May 3 and a month later at other online outlets, according to the New York Times.

The new album includes covers of classic hits like 'The Way We Were' and 'A Summer Place.' Also included is her acclaimed performance of  'My Country 'Tis of Thee' from President Obama's inauguration.

Franklin's legendary 50-year career has included more than 40 Top 40 hits, 20 Grammy Awards, and hit songs like 'Respect,' 'Chain of Fools,' '(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman' and 'Freeway of Love.'

The 69-year-old performer seems to have recovered from the unspecified illness that required surgery in December. She was unable to attend the 2011 Grammy Awards but watched from home as Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride, Yolanda Adams and Florence Welch sang a medley of some of her biggest hits.
